Meet The Founder

Kyla started started Bits N' Bytes Cybersecurity Education when she was 14 years old.

After attending two years of training with NSA GenCyber camp, Kyla built Bits N’ Bytes Cybersecurity Education with a vision for a more secure world. She has championed her message of cybersecurity resilience on national and international stages including TEDxChicago, NIST’s NICE Conference, RSAC-USA, and RSAC Singapore 2019 and for her work, has been honored as Crain Chicago’s Top 50 in Tech, a JFK Medal of Honor Recipient, a Stanford She++ fellow, a 2018 Global Teen Leader, and a 2019 Harvard Book Prize Award winner. Kyla now studies computer science and international relations at Stanford, giving back the lessons she learns into more curriculum for BNBCE.
